Tru by Hilton - Pigeon Forge, Tn

                        

If your like us, we tend to go on spur of the moment trips to places, therefore we never have a place to stay already booked before we go. Normally we are driving down the road as I am finding us a place to stay. Well this one particular time while searching all the best deals on hotels while in Pigeon forge I stumbled upon the Tru by Hilton hotel and once we got there I was ever so glad I did. This hotel exceeded our expectations and was immaculately clean! When walking in the first things I noticed is how clean and modernly decorated the place was. They had lots of seating in the lobby that included anything from benches, cushioned chairs, bar stools, to hanging egg chairs.

                        

 They also had a pretty good selection of a snack bar so if you want to purchase a late night snack it is available to do. 

They also had desks built in to the wall like little cubby holes where you could sit down and relax or work if needed to in the lobby. 

They do have a large breakfast area as well with plenty of seating for the guests that would like to take advantage of the free breakfast each morning. 

During our stay breakfast included waffles, eggs, cereal,oatmeal, toast,bagels,yogurt,and fruit. 

We stayed in a room with 2 queen size beds and let me tell you, this hotel room was very very clean. Normally with hotel rooms you never want to walk on the carpet cause something about hotel carpet normally just feels nasty but this hotel had laminate flooring in the hotel room and it actually looked and felt clean!!! We stayed during covid so when we got to the door of our room we had a seal on the door that showed the room had been disinfected and when we got inside our remote was wrapped in plastic where it had been sanitized as well. The bedding was nice and soft and we had plenty of pillows that were fluffy and not flat like alot can be. Needless to say I think we all got a good night's sleep in this room. 

                            

Before going to sleep though we did check out the indoor pool which was a nice clean area as well that my kids enjoyed alot! 

They do have a fitness center if you want to work out during your stay. But the best thing of all is the roof top seating area along with the fire pit. On the roof there is tons of seating, covered and uncovered and one section has a nice long gas fire pit that you can enjoy especially on those chilly nights. 

                            

                             

The view over the top is also pretty amazing as well. 

                                    

All the staff we encountered was extremely nice and helpful and let me say we will definatley be back to stay here again. Along with everything being amazingly clean, and the perks to staying here, it is also right beside everything in pigeon forge including the island. This is a must stay on those quick trips or long ones and be sure to compare prices cause you never know what deals you may find when searching through travel sites and hotel booking sites!
